Hey Everybody, Happy New Year 2020!!!!!
We intended to upload a special message on Friday Jan, 3 however our connections are having some technical issues. We should have them resolved shortly but another message will be posted tomorrow on the Old Time Power Podcast..

I do want to make you aware of some new announcements here however... This is especially important for our friends, supporters, and monthly partners.
We have been praying for about 2 years about our social media.. We feel its the Lords timing to make some cuts to our use of social media for various reasons pertinent to stewardship. Last Fall, I cut out 100% of my Instagram use. Starting Now the following cuts will go into place: Twitter:10%,  USA Life: 25%, Facebook: 60 to 70%.  There will be No Cuts in our Use to the following sites. YouTube (at this time).. No cut... Our Connect site: No Cut... Old Time Power Podcast on Podbean: No Cut......
I will be mentioning this on some upcoming messages and give more to the specifics as to why the Lord led us to do this.

Here is what we need from those of you that follow our ministry for the teachings both audio and/or video..... Please send us your email address and your mailing address so we can minister and keep in touch with you in these ways not related to social media. You can email me at office@acts2618.com. We will not send out more than 1 email per week and at first, less than that. And we will not send you fund raising emails. Again I will be talking about this throughout the year and explaining it.

Here are some nuggets from the past I want to leave you with....

As we live in these exciting times, we must focus our attention on Jesus Christ and anticipate His return. We must be faithful disciples, making soul-winning a active and vital part of our lives. We have a message that others need to hear. We must share it while there is still time.

Here is a powerful verse in Jeremiah: Thus says the Lord; Stand in the ways and see, and ask for the old paths, where the good way is, and walk in it; Then you will find rest for your souls. But they said, we will not walk in it. (Jeremiah 6:16).... I have determined in my heart not to say no to Christ and His ways in favor of what the crowd wants! It’s my firm belief that God is raising up a people in these last days willing to be weaned away from the things of the world and ready to turn their backs on sin completely!! As we give thanks let us remember to be thankful for where He brought us from and patiently seek Gods will for the future. I believe that the rapture is very close and I want to be found pleasing in the Lords sight when He returns

Church, we were never called to entertain the world wrongly assuming that it would make them desire the things of God. What you compromise to gain you will ultimately lose. What you and I need is a move of Gods Holy Spirit one more time. Let’s return to preaching the Word of God under the Anointing of the Holy Spirit. It takes the power of God to draw people to Christ. All of the tricks of a weak backslidden church has not worked because it cannot work. The only thing that brings people to Christ is a church that exalts the Cross of Christ and preaches and lives by the Blood of Jesus. Oh God Almighty May our preachers no longer cave to the pressure of the threats of this godless society. Give your people a voice one more time. Let us return to prayer and stand firmly on the ground God has given us in and by His Word. Take us back to those old time revivals and prayer meetings. Birth some today oh God. Help us to tell this generation that God still loves you and you can still repent and receive forgiveness..Move among us Holy Spirit. Help us to live the truth.. in Jesus Name... 

Many who have stood through great trouble and conquered, later found themselves defeated because of sloppy spiritual conduct in times of seeming peace. Our confidence can never rest in the accomplishments or achievements of the past, but only in our continual place in the presence of God. Be sure to maintain an intimate relationship with the Lord daily. God bless you friends!!

Praise God!! So again my friends, Happy New Year 2020 and we look forward to ministering to people on a more personal level than ever before.. Thank You Partners for all you are doing.. God Bless You

Random Thoughts As I Enter 2018

The Lord has been dealing with me about giving a warning from Him through next year; not every message but several will give these warnings. I have been praying about this for months and will talk a little bit about it Thursday night.

Some of what God has given me to deliver will cost me relationships both within and outside of the church. Please those of you who are truly friends of this ministry, keep us in your prayers. One thing I determined many years ago is that I will follow the Lord in every way He leads me at the cost of everything, everyone, and every dream. I must deliver my soul and declare what Thus Saith The Lord.. thanks from Angie and I!

Our country is in desperate need of spiritual revival. We’re quick to agree that those outside of Christ live in disobedience to God, but what about those of us who claim to follow Him?

The famous song writer, Horatio Spafford, passing over the ocean spot where a storm had claimed the lives of his children, penned these famous words, "When sorrows like sea billows roll, whatever my lot Thou hast taught me to say, it is well, it is well with my soul."

I still believe in old fashioned, heart felt, heaven sent, Holy Ghost, Blood bought Revival that will change the sinner and take hell out of the human heart! Grace doesn’t mean it’s ok to keep sinning. Grace empowers Holy living. 

Never compromise the Truth of the Word of God in order to fill seats or have friends. Stay true to Jesus and to the call on your life. People can choose to walk with you or leave; better to please God!

I would much rather offend some by the truth in the moment and see the Holy Spirit work on them, bring them to Christ in the long run than be all politically correct and nicey nicey while they go to hell.

 

We live in a world where people who are offended by the truth of the Word of God demand that we be silenced. Preacher: do your job, keep proclaiming the Truth. Never change to get people to like you!!

The world is looking for another god... much of the church looks for another sacrifice (good works, programs, etc) ... but I tell you: The Cross is enough; The Blood of Jesus is enough!! The Cross is the answer to everything!!

 

I am most at home, most comfortable and most myself when hanging out with people who want to talk ministry. I love the way God puts team ministry together. Looking forward to 2018!

 

We are committed to following the will of GOD for our lives... The will of GOD will always lead you to PEOPLE.... For GOD so loved the WORLD (PEOPLE) that HE gave........... Meeting the needs of people, including material needs, is very close to the heart of GOD...... No defense of what GOD has called us for; just saying.... Folks, it matters so little what others think or say.... Follow GODS will for YOU...........  When others stop supporting you because they cannot be you, God will judge rightly.. He will send many to take the place of the one..

In these last days, it will be important that you do not grow weary in well doing. Do not allow the nay saying of unbelieving believers to slow or stop you. You will be judged by them but thats ok. It is Gods approval we must seek in these days...,.... Preach and proclaim what God gives you.

 

Turn a deaf ear to ALL those who presume to know your heart and focus... You answer to God... Many are those who try to make their candle burn brighter by dimming yours. They will answer to God.

 

Happy New Year!! In Jesus, all the promises, the incorruptible seed of the Word of God, all the promises , all the blessings, all the ingredients of your Divine destiny, is deposited on the inside of you..Look To JESUS, He gives us what we need, and Fight the Good fight of faith and draw water from the wells of salvation.. Jesus makes us partakers of the Divine Nature and we are enabled by Grace to excel and succeed in our spiritual lives as we walk with the Lord and are conformed to His image. We will bring souls into the Kingdom, we will finance Kingdom projects, we will defeat fear and doubt in His Name... 2018 will be a year to Remember and a time of Kingdom advance. Persecution may arise but can never choke out the Kingdom seed. We will not fear.. We will not give way to the enemy and we will accomplish our assignments with great Joy...... In Him...... Now BE BLESSED AND VICTORIOUS IN JESUS NAME.... Draw out of the resources He has invested in you!! And friends, partners, and fellow disciples.... Happy New Year In CHRIST!!!!!!

This is our answer to those who try to judge us based on what we post on social media.... The pictures we post of events, what we preach.... or anything else for that matter..... We are praying for The Lord to Raise up Pastors with a shepards heart to help believers watch their mouth and teach them to not live on their emotions..... If you have been beat up by other believers including immature leaders, then this is dedicated to you..... Angie and I encourage all our social media followers to not support posts that pick at others, even in veiled ways... That in itself is deceptive and causes a ministry leader to be sub standard.. Just don't hit like on those posts.. Don't support ministries with leaders who are unstable and judge peoples motives... Preaching the Word strong and true is something We Should do.... but never follow those who twist the word and aim that twisted version at others.... We are so very serious about this... Take a stand on truth YES..... But dont get personal or critical about how many pictures someone posts on their page or judge what they are doing for the Lord as if they were not really... That is DEMONIC.... Mind your own business and start to grow up in the Lord... Dont stay backslidden... Jesus wants to restore you...... More on this coming in messages soon........
